The Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel undertook an enquiry to develop an understanding of how effectively the Council’s Departments were working together and to assess how the local NHS was responding to the problem of obesity. The review outcomes included - 1. A number of recommendations to help young people make informed decisions about their lifestyles 2. Looking at how work already being undertaken across the city could be supported and improved.
