A Lifelong Learning Overview and Scrutiny Select Committee undertook a review with the following aims - * to examine how effectively the City Council is improving service delivery in sports and recreation against the recommendations contained in the Audit Commission Inspection Report dated May 2004 * as necessary, to assess how City Council services are corporately responding to the recommendations made in the report * to make recommendations where appropriate that can influence and lead to an improved level of service delivery to the residents of the City.
