Response: The Council’s electoral services department dramatically increased registration which should be celebrated. The issues with registration will go to Audit and Governance committee to review procedures. The suggestion that Councillors interfere with the election is a slur. |

The Chief Executive responded that the issue had been referred to the Scrutiny Management Board and the Terms of Reference for the review would be discussed tomorrow. The Chief Executive noted that she was delighted with the performance of the team at the count. |
