Exempt Information To consider passing a resolution under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972 to exclude the press and the public from the meeting for the following items of business, on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Minutes: The Committee agreed to pass a resolution under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 to exclude the press and the public from the meeting for the following items of business, on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. |

Review Status of a Private Hire Driver Licence Minutes: The Committee:
a) Considered all that was said by the driver;
b) Considered all of the information contained within the report;
c) Considered all of the relevant policies referred to in the report;
d) Asked itself whether it would want a person they cared for or a vulnerable person to be driven in a vehicle driven by the driver.
The Committee agreed to:
1. The driver’s Private Hire Licence would be suspended under S19(1) (b) Plymouth City Council Act 1975 until they had provided an updated DVSA Group II medical certificate.
2. The driver’s Private Hire Driving Licence would be suspended under S19(1)(b) Plymouth City Council Act 1975 for failure to notify the Taxi Licensing Department of their medical condition for a period of 21 days to run concurrently with (1)

Review Status of a Private Hire Vehicle Driver Licence Minutes: The Committee:
a) Considered all that was said by the driver;
b) Considered all of the information contained within the report;
c) Considered all of the relevant policies referred to in the report;
d) Asked itself whether it would want a person they cared for or a vulnerable person to be driven in a vehicle driven by the driver.
The Committee agreed to:
1. Revoke the driver’s Private Hire Driver’s Licence.
