The Committee will appoint a Chair and Vice-Chair for this particular meeting.

Resolved that Councillor Lock is appointed as Chair and Councillor Roberts is appointed as Vice Chair for this particular meeting.

The Way I Spent the End of the World

Minutes:

The committee having –

 

(i)

considered the report of the Director for Community Services;

 

(ii)

heard from the applicant;

 

(iii)

 

watched the film ‘The Way I Spent the End of the World’;

(iv)

 

considered the film portrayed nudity, violence, the attempted suicide of a child, the use of strong but infrequent language and sexual activity.

 

Resolved that the film was not suitable for viewing by anyone under 15 years of age.

EXEMPT BUSINESS

To consider passing a resolution under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 to exclude the press and public from the meeting for the following item(s) of business on the grounds that it (they) involve(s) the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph(s) ? of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
