One question was submitted to the Planning Committee:

Mr Stoneman submitted the following question – this was read out by the Chair in Mr Stoneman’s absence:

Question:

I would like to know why no consideration was given to a planning application that would save energy and create jobs at St Anne’s House PL99SN in a energy and economic crisis when the council policy is to support the hospitality sector in ocean city.

Response:

It is not considered appropriate for Planning Committee to comment on specific matters relating to a case which was not presented to and determined by Committee. Each individual planning application has to be considered on its own merits taking in to account all relevant material planning considerations. The officer report for the application will provide an assessment of the matters relevant to the case. If you are unhappy with the decision of the Local Planning Authority then the letter that accompanies the decision notice provides relevant information on the Appeals process.
