Exempt Information To consider passing a resolution under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972 to exclude the press and the public from the meeting for the following items of business, on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in paragraph 1 & 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Minutes: The Committee agreed to pass a resolution under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972 to exclude the press and the public from the meeting for the following items of business, on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. |

Hire Driver’s Licence.

Review Status of a Private Hire Vehicle Drivers Licence Minutes: The Committee:
a)
Considered all that was said by the
driver; b)
Considered all of the information contained within the
report; c)
Considered all of the relevant policies referred to in the
report; d) Asked itself whether it would want a person they cared for, or a vulnerable person, to be driven in a vehicle by the driver.
1. To suspend the licence for a period of 21 days. |

driver; b)
Considered all of the information contained within the

report; d) Asked itself whether it would want a person they cared for, or a vulnerable person, to be driven in a vehicle by the driver.

To take no action with regards to the Private Hire Driver’s
Licence; 2. To imposes a requirement that the driver successfully undertake again the driving standards test within 6 months of this decision. |
