The Board to receive a report from Plymouth Growth Board.

Carole Burgoyne, Strategic Director for People, Plymouth City Council, and Kelechi Nnoaham, Director of Public Health, Plymouth City Council, presented the People Communities and Institutions report from the Plymouth Growth Board the board. It was reported that;

a)    the report shows the links between the work of the growth board and the work discussed earlier in the agenda, the agendas of the two boards are becoming more interlinked;

b)    the Children and Young People’s Partnership has already been aligned to the  Health and Wellbeing Board. Further consideration needs to be given to linking the wider partnerships across the system, ensuring information goes to the right place for consideration but with all other relevant partnerships cited. The lead officer was requested to give consideration to how that could be actioned;

c)    the People, Communities and Institutions Flagship’s primary remit is to recognise social inequalities and the relationship between growth and health.
