Personnel Committee
Purpose of committee
The Personnel Committee’s Terms of Reference are set out in the Constitution at Part 4 (Other Committees, Functions, Procedures and Terms of Reference). Its function and power is to organise the appointment of staff and to determine the terms and conditions on which they hold office (including procedures for their dismissal).
Specific responsibilities include –
· To agree all personnel procedures
· To agree any settlement for terms and conditions of employment of officers
· To agree any payment of redundancy or other employee related settlement
