Plan for Economic Growth Refresh

Plymouth’s local economy strategy is to get a refresh to provide the city with a clear direction and ambition for growth.

Our current economic strategy, Plan for Economic Growth, was written pre-pandemic and much has changed both locally, nationally and internationally in the last few years.

The new strategy will aim to look ahead with a fresh pair of eyes, to recognise the challenges businesses face and to target support to help address them.?

The initial focus will outline the vision for the city and an analysis of the main competitive advantages and strengths of Plymouth, as well as opportunities for strategic connections across regions and growth over the next 10 years.

1. To agree the approach to the refresh of Plymouth’s Economic Strategy - Plan for Economic Growth

2. To authorise the Leader to undertake final sign-off of the refreshed Economic Strategy - Plan for Economic Growth
