Complex Needs Alliance Contract Extension 2026-28

A request to action a two year extension to the Complex Needs Alliance Contract PEO16175 from 01 April 2026 – 31 March 2028 in line with the Cabinet Decisions of 15 Jan 2019: Decision - Alliance for People with Complex Needs Contract Award - Modern Council and 11 March 2024 Decision - Complex Needs Alliance Contract - Modern Council

To grant authority to the Strategic Direction for Adults, Health and Communities in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holders to award future individual contract variations under this contract, up to the value of £3 million per variation, resulting from additional grant funding (including but not limited to the Drug & Alcohol Treatment Grant (DATRIG) and the Homelessness Rough Sleeping and Domestic Abuse Grant (HRS&DAG) within the Contract Period.

The option to extend for a further + 2 years was outlined in the original decision and allows for the continuation of services to people who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness and with multiple disadvantage.
