To approve the steps being taken to change the status of Cornwall and Devon Connexions Limited to a local authority controlled company with effect from 1 April 2008;

To agree that the Chief Executive and the Director of Children’s Services nominate Plymouth City Council’s representatives on the Board of the Connexions Company;

To agree that with effect from 1 April 2008 Cornwall and Devon Connexions Limited provides the Connexions services to the Council in line with agreed service specification;

To authorise the Head of Legal Services to enter into all necessary legal documentation to complete the transition of the connexions Company from minority controlled to local authority controlled and subsequently to attend and vote on behalf of the Council at all general meetings of the Company once its status has been amended.
