Information to be considered by the decision makers: • Existing Domiciliary Care Services contract due to expire on 31st March 2008 before the Tender process will be completed. • Current Tender process will result in a reduction in the number of contracted providers of Domiciliary Care Services. • Allow for consultation / movement of Service Users due to potential change of provider as a result of current Tender process, • Potential change of provider may require TUPE considerations for existing providers. • Service users will be offered opportunity to transfer to Direct Payments when reviewed.
