Information to be considered by the decision makers: • The tender process has been delayed by the review of the relationship between Pluss, Plymouth, Devon and Torbay as a Local Authority Controlled Company. • The existing contract is due to expire on 31st July 2008 • This time period will allow for soft market testing informing the decision of whether to tender for the contract or enter into negotiations with the incumbent provider, according to the revised specification. • Pluss provides specialist services for up to 300 people with learning disabilities Sufficient time needs to be built into the process to allow for alternative arrangements for vulnerable adults, if this is required.
