Existing Bathroom Adaptations Framework Agreement comes to an end in March 2018, and hence a new procurement exercise must be undertaken to continue the delivery of Bathroom Adaptations via Disabled Facilities Grant.

The Council has a statutory duty to approve mandatory Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG’s) for major adaptations.  This work helps people (including children) to live independently in their own homes, thereby helping to contain the potential increase in costs to Social Care Services, and maintain people living in their own homes.

This Framework agreement assists speedy delivery of adaptations, consistency in the quality of the work completed and value for money.
