To approve the award of local bus service contracts to one or more bus operators for the provision of the Plymouth subsidised bus service network, in accordance with the recommendations contained in the contract award report. This will include the contract award for a new service into Sherford.

Explanation of anticipated restriction:
The contract award will contain commercially sensitive information, both in respect of costs and named bus operators. The award of contracts may result in a transfer of service(s) to an alternative operator where a cheaper bid has been submitted, and therefore bus operators will need to be advised of the outcome prior to the information being in the public realm. The outcome may also result in TUPE implications which would impact on individual bus drivers.
