Community Grants 2022/23





Purchase of litter picking equipment for Plympton Litter Pickers.




To support St Mary's Parish Church with a contribution towards the repair and restoration of the church clock which will benefit the people of Plympton


To support Plympton Cricket Club with the building improvements to their Clubhouse at Harewood Park. Benefiting the Plympton community.


To support the Rees Centre Wellbeing Hub by contributing to additional resources for their activities benefiting residents in Plympton.




To support the OWSI project working with the Peninsula Dental School to bring dental health education to primary schools within the Plympton St Mary Ward with a contribution towards to costs of books and other items.


To contribute to the cost of placing and filling a grit bin on High Glen Drive in Plympton to benfit residents in the area through winter.




To Support Plympton Tennis Club with a contribution towards their Light Up Plymptons New Courts Crowdfunder.




To support the Woodford School Parent-Teachers Association with a contribution towards setting up a pre-loved uniform store to help families attending primary school.




To support the Rees Wellbeing Hub with a contribution towards all the activities organised to help young people and vulnerable groups.


To support Plympton Litter Pickers with a contribution towards equipment and resources needed to run litter picking events in the community.

To fund new tree planting in Church Close (three trees), Newham Meadows (one tree) and Trelawny Road/Crossway (five trees).


To contribute towards the - You Can Do It Awards event for care experienced young people




To support the Christmas Lights Switch On and Christmas Fair event in Plympton. It supports local businesses and charities by giving them the opportunity to showcase themselves. This grant will contribute equipment hire for the Xmas Fair.




To support the community in Colebrook with a contribution towards improvements to the Parkland at Golden Square. This grant will go towards the construction of a woodland design pathway and the cutting/enhancement of grass, as well as the purchasing of shrubs, supplies and plants.


To support the community in Plympton by contributing towards the purchasing and planting of 400 Daffodil Bulbs along Plymouth Road.
