Community Grants 2022/23





To support Plymouth Centre for Faiths and Cultural Diversity with their Community Projects to promote Community Cohesion.


To support St Edward's Church with a contribution to help towards the costs of facilities and other support during their Community Fun Day 2022.




To support Plymouth Mayflower Specials to facilitate the Plymouth Special Olympics and associated activities and support participants.


To support the Bladder Meadow community festival with a grant towards equipment. This will benefit the residents of Eggbuckland Ward




To support Friday Crafternoon Club with a contribution towards materials needed for their Christmas Event, benefiting any attendees to the event.


To support St Edward's Church with a contribution to towards the costs of a replacement fire door for the community hall


To support Church of the Ascension in Crownhill with a contribution towards the restoration of the church tower, making the church safe for visitors.

To support St Edwards Church with the purchase of plants and soil for their communal areas which are of benefit for those visiting.




To support The Crownhill Village Network Group with their annual Christmas Village event. This funding will contribute towards Christmas trees and lights to be displayed in the village for all visitors to enjoy.


To contribute towards a trampoline and play equipment for the St Edwards Church permanent children's corner, which will provide better facilities for younger children and will allow their work and community engagement to continue.




To provide funding towards a new defibrillator battery at Crownhill Methodist Church.


To support Clean Our Patch, who will use the money to purchase equipment for the litter-pickers.




To contribute towards the - You Can Do It Awards event for care experienced young people


To support St Edwards Church with a contribution towards the purchasing of paint and other materials needed to restore and redecorate 3 clock faces in Trafalgar blue paint for the Eggbuckland community.




To support the Plymouth Musical Activities Club with a contribution towards associated materials the club requires for their music group that helps young people between the ages of 9 and 18.


A contribution towards providing lunch for the elderly residents within Eggbuckland that is being supported and arranged by St Edwards Church. This fund will help with the catering, food and other associated materials.




To support Crafternoon Club with the hire of hall to enable them to set up their Friday Crafternoon Club for older people that enjoy coming together socially and crafting.




To support 7th Plymouth Scout Group with the purchase of laptops that will benefit the groups attending with their activities and education.


To support the continued investment in the Crownhill Village Festive Light Display and Switch On Event. New infrastructure, equipment and lights need to be sourced before Christmas 2022.
