Community Grants 2021/22





To support BASIS Devon who are a network of volunteer emergency doctors who provide immediate access to specialist medical car. This will fund training, free hospital medical teaching and community involvement that will benefit the community.


To support Ham Drive Nursey with a contribution towards outdoor play equipment for the children aged 2 - 5 years to develop shared learning experiences whist achieving potential by nurturing confidence, independence and self-esteem.


Funding for Mama Bears Day Nursery to buy reading books for pre-school and towards the nursery garden


Funding towards breakfast club at Mayflower Academy, fridge and other items to provide breakfast to children attending the school


To support Plymouth Artist's Together help the community by putting artwork on the unloved and neglected spaces in our City. This will help with the purchase of supplies and materials needed to continue this voluntary activity.




Funding to Pennycross Primary School to provide equipment for the playground, bench and materials


To provide books, equipment and out-door play appliances for all pupils to use.


To provide counselling and mental health support for students post-lockdown at All Saints CofE Secondary School.




To support the Keyham Community with a noticeboard to be placed within North Down Crescent for the benefit of the residents.




To contribute towards the - You Can Do It Awards event for care experienced young people


To provide a grit bin and contents to Antony Gardens, Ham to benefit the residents in icy conditions.




To support Plymouth Musical Activities Club (MAC) with a contribution towards their Christmas Carol Concert, Future Events and the Purchasing of Musical Instruments. This will benefit hundreds of children across Plymouth.




To support the residents at Ham Green Court and Ham Drive with a contribution towards a refill of the Community Grant Grit Bin that resides there.




To support students that access Poles APart AP with a contribution towards the purchasing of sensory lights. These will help to calm and relax students, helping to regulate their behaviour.




Purchase of materials to enable Timebank SW to put an Easter Event on for the local community at Titchy Park.
