Following a significant increase In attendance at Bolitho Park, Honicknowle, local residents and councillors have had to endure months of inconvenience, anti-social parking and danger on the highway caused by visiting users of the complex.  The ward councillors have requested minimal interventions to support clear access to the streets. The Traffic Management team have assessed the locations in question and the Parking team have undertaken months of observations, therefore double yellow lines will be proposed in locations to aid visibility, increase road safety and to prevent antisocial
parking.

St Aiden's Church are working with the Fit & Fed programme and 'Feast of Fun' to try and alleviate school holiday hunger. Funding will support the church in their summer activity programme and go towards providing children who attend with hot meals.
