The Head of Sustainable Transport will provide an introduction to the Task and Finish Group and will refer to the request for scrutiny work programme item and the reports submitted.

The task and finish group convened over four days to consider written and verbal evidence in respect of subsidised bus routes and through ticketing.

 

The full draft report containing the findings, conclusions and recommendations arising from this task and finish group are attached as an appendix to these minutes. 

 

This report will be considered by the Overview and Scrutiny Management Board at its meeting on 12 December 2012 before being considered by the Growth and Prosperity Overview and Scrutiny Panel on 20 February 2013.

To consider passing a resolution under Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 to exclude the press and public from the meeting for the following item(s) of business on the grounds that it (they) involve(s) the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph(s) of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
