Community Grants 2021/22





To support Swarthmore Allotment Association with a contribution towards urgent repairs needed to their trading hut, which will allow it to continue to be used as a vital community hub and for fundraising.


To support with the replacement of children's play equipment in Weston Park Road playpark. This will provide the children and families that use this park with a new stainless steel slide to which will be hardwearing and fire-resistant.




To contribute towards the - You Can Do It Awards event for care experienced young people


To purchase litter picking equipment for Clean Our Patch volunteers in Peverell Ward.




To support the Local Community in Plymouth with a contribution towards the Respect Festival 2022 which is being organised by the Plymouth & District Racial Equality Council




To provide spray paint and supporting materials to Plymouth Artists Together to paint Street Art for graffitied areas in Peverell and the Central Park Skate Park.


To support Young People in Plymouth with a Contribution towards the Youth Service Team, this will help provide recovery for Young People affected by the Keyham Shooting.


Donation towards a new greenhouse following storm damage for the Central Park Allotments Association.


A donation to support Plymouth Centre for Faiths & Cultural Diversity to get educational packs to assist them in the continuation of their valuable work supporting faith and cultural diversity across Plymouth.


To support Seadream Education with a contribution towards Activity Projects for Young People to learn how to make connections between living forms in our Urban environment. The donation will go towards the purchasing of Seeds and Planting Packs, Education materials and small tools.

To support Plymouth PIE (Parklifers in Exile) with the ability to provide meals and equipment for their elderly and vulnerable patrons who use the Park Pavilion cafes across the city of Plymouth. 




A donation to Plymouth Centre for Faiths and Cultural diversity to provide educational materials for their workshops on different cultures and faiths which aim to promote diversity and tackle discrimination.


To support the Plymouth Tree Challenge to increase the tree canopy cover across the City of Plymouth.

Community Grants 2019/20





Community money for community tree planting project within Peverell ward. For this project, we will be working with the Green Estates team to engage with residents, stakeholders and local community groups to plant trees in priority areas and enhance the canopy cover of ward Peverell. This work contributes to the Plymouth Tree Challenge which seeks to deliver the principles Promote, Protect, Care, Enhance, set out in the Plan for Trees and is an ‘Immediate Action’ in the Climate Emergency Action Plan.


Support Central Park Parkrun by providing start-up funding and make the event accessible to all whilst promoting health and wellbeing.


To support with the renewal of outdoor play facilities such as climbing unit, swings, football goals at Burleigh Manor park.
